Eni and Anadarko set the unitization of Area 4 and 1 in the Rovuma Basin offshore Mozambique

Eni and Anadarko announce that, following the signing of the Unitization and Unit Operating Agreement (UUOA) and in full agreement with all the concessionaries of the projects, a unitization was set out for the development of natural gas reservoirs straddling Areas 4 and 1 in the Rovuma Basin, offshore Mozambique. Area 4 is operated by Eni East Africa while Area 1 is operated by Anadarko Mozambique Area 1 Ltd.

Eni, together with Statoil, Sasol and ENH, have been awarded a new exploration block in the offshore of Mozambique

Eni, together with Statoil, Sasol and ENH, have been awarded, following the 5th Competitive Mozambique Bid Round,  the exploration and development rights of the offshore block  A5-A, in the area of Mozambique named Angoche,  about 1,500 kilometers northeast of the capital city  Maputo. The block, which covers a total area of di 5,145 square kilometers in a water depth between 200 and 1800 meters, is placed within an unexplored area of the Northern Zambesi Basin, which the consortium estimate to contain significant hydrocarbon resources.

BP confirms Start Up of Kizomba Satellite Fields Offshore Angola

“This is the first of BP’s planned start-ups for 2015 and is another successful project from this prolific block,” said Darryl Willis, BP’s regional president, Angola. “We expect to follow this up later in the year with the Greater Plutonio phase 3 project in neighbouring Block 18 which is operated by BP.”

Eni Starts Production of Cinguvu Offshore Field at West Hub Development in Angola

Eni started production two weeks ahead of schedule at the Cinguvu oil field, from the West Hub Development Project in Block 15/06 in the Angolan Deep Offshore, approximately 350 kilometres northwest of Luanda and 130 kilometres west of Soyo. The start-up follows the achievement of West Hub’s first oil through Sangos field start-up, during last November 2014.

Eni signs two agreements at Palazzo Chigi with the Government of the Republic of Congo

Eni today confirms its historical commitment in Congo with the signature of two agreements at Palazzo Chigi, underwritten by Eni’s CEO Claudio Descalzi in the presence of the President of the Republic of Congo, Denis Sassou N’Guesso, and of the Italian Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi.

Eni sanctioned the OCTP project in Ghana

Eni, Vitol and Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) signed today with the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, and the Minister of Petroleum, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the agreement to proceed with the OCTP integrated oil & gas project in Ghana. First oil is expected in 2017, first gas in 2018 and the peak production will be 80,000 boed in 2019.
